NOTE: The developer/contractor is required to install complete waterline connections, including but not limited to the tap, box, yoke, and service line. The developer/contractor shall be held responsible for all repairs of GHID infrastructure at their expense should any damage occur. Private complexes, such as Apartments, Townhomes, Condos, PUD’s, Business Centers, etc., that are required to have a 1” or larger service line or fireline, shall be required by GHID to install a master meter. If more than one connection is needed to loop the system, each connection shall be required to have a master meter in compliance with all GHID specifications and requirements.

Fireline Connection Fee:

Each connection is 5% of the Capital Improvement Charge of the corresponding service line size, plus inspection fees.

Sewer System Connection Fees:

(a) (Equivalent Dwelling Unit) is defined as a flow – 9,860 gallons per month, BOD – 16.54 lbs. per month, and Suspended Solids – 19.46 lbs. per month. Sewer system connection fees shall be calculated by using GHID EDU’s for each culinary waterline connection. Exception for residential projects only; the lesser of either the total number of single family dwelling units or GHID EDU’s shall be used for calculating sewer system connection fees.

NOTE: The developer/contractor is required to install complete sewer line connections, including but not imited to the nose on and lateral. Payment of connection fees shall not be accepted by GHID only after the main culinary water and sanitary sewer lines have been given GHID preliminary acceptance.
