COVID-19

Granger-Hunter Improvement District is closed to the public until further notice. During this time, no in person payments will be accepted. We will only accept phone, electronic and drop box payments.

 

Granger-Hunter Improvement District is committed to providing water delivered clean and safe for daily use and collected responsibly to protect public health and the environment. We would like to take this opportunity to assure you that the water system is functioning as it should in fulfilling that mission. We are closely monitoring the situation regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the health and safety of our customers and employees is our top priority.

During this time, we will not be suspending water and wastewater services. We also want to make sure that you know the options available to you to work with us remotely. We would invite you to use these alternatives if you are sick, exhibiting flu-like symptoms, or trying to limit interacting with others.

  • GHID.org/Pay Online
  • Two convenient drop boxes located at our office
  • Pay by phone using our automated phone system
  • Pay stations at Harmons, Smiths, Walmart etc. (GHID cannot guarantee payment through third parties will be received on time)
  • Pay through your bank

We recognize the COVID-19 has caused a shortage in toilet paper throughout the state. However, we encourage everyone to avoid flushing the following items in order for the sewer to properly convey:

  • Paper towels
  • Baby wipes
  • Napkins
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Rags
  • Etc.
